Eye in the Sky II

Featured below is a picture i took when my flight was approaching Singapore. The islands look so relaxed and inviting, i might consider this as my next vacation spot :)

  15. G, Thank you. Yes, this is something that keeps me in motion. My eyes keep wandering in search of a good picture and when i see one, i go for the camera :) Most of the times i miss the pic bcos i dont have my camera or i am driving and that moment is lost by the time i pull over. Anyways, i try :) Take care...

  16. It's time you showed up boo. Where have you been? Hope things are okay with you.

I dont think Singapore is on your way unless that is your destination or you are flying to the land down under :) Whenever you both fly, always remember to take the two seaters at the end of the aircraft. (the bigger boeings and airbus taper towards the end and the three seaters become two seaters for the last 5 rows). This way, one gets the window seat and the other gets the aisle seat. No haddi in between :) and there is ample leg space. Take care, love and hugs to you both.

  18. Hey,
this is a havoc pic dude...how did u take this one!

  19. These are fantastic. It is so amazing how small one photo can make you feel. You have a brilliant eye for contrasts. The cracks in the earth, the sweeping lines and geometry of it all. Simply stunning.

I can't wait to see your birds. I will keep taking pictures of mine, even if they are out of focus. I took the picture holding the camera above my head. I kept shooting till I could see the featherless forms.

  23. That is awesome.... A great eye to take care...

Know wat, do not take pictures if you are withing US flights. In CNN they said, they have air marshalls keeps an eye on all passengers including taking pictures and those will be in the passenger screen list.
Just an information wanna shate here.

  26. hi anand. I dont know what you mean by havoc. This picture was taken when my flight was approaching the Changi Airport in Singapore. I was lucky that the visibility was good, the waters were clear. It is a perfect vacation spot, thinking of it relieves my stress levels :D

  27. Hi Frida. Yes, a picture is worth a thousand words. This one speaks volumes of the wonders of nature. Thank you so much for the nice comments, really appreciated. Here is a little secret for you. A good photograph = Creative Composition + Image processing. High end cameras do most of the image processing as they have those really fast image processor chips in the camera. This reduces the time you need to tweak the image in photoshop. Having said that, the composition is entirely the photographer's imagination and creativity. I usually take a couple of pictures of the same subject and pick the best one out. If you dont have those high end cameras, still no problem, try tweaking your images in photoshop a bit, im sure you will love what you end up with :) :)

I will definitely be posting the birdie pics soon, just waiting for the lil birdies to start flying. They are still in the juvie stage and are annoyingly noisy during meal time. Take care and good luck with your chicks :)

  32. Ari,
It was an interview in CNN with an air marshall and they shared their inputs their saying how innocent poeple are taken into the passenger list just for taking pictures. I think I saw around 24-26th july in CNN channel. Donno worry.
Even I wanted to take a picture of sunset when I flew from denver, but I didn't take coz never knew what ppl' might say/ look at me.

Enjoy taking pictures. Just wanted to share and not to scare you off.

Are you going to be hanging out
at my blog tonight the same time as me ... probably not.
That was kind of strange... but
    fun!
    Take care.

  35. priya, thanks for the info. I will be careful. The problem with my camera is that it is big and obvious, cant hide it in my pocket like the small powershot i have and the shutter makes a loud noise when i click. :)

  36. Margie, i see you are having fun with your books :) Have a nice weekend.
