Hawaii (also known as the Aloha State) is atleast 2000 miles away from anywhere and is considered a paradise known for its crystal clear, blue pristine clean beaches and tropical weather. Hawaii consists of 6 islands; Kauai, Oahu, Maui, Lanai, Molokai and the big island of Hawaii. Our trip this time was to the islands of Oahu and Maui.

Hope you had a wonderful time.
Ari
ReplyDeleteSuch wonderful and gorgeous pictures!
Loved it!
Thank you!
Take care!
Margie:)
I have never seen emerald green Aamir, Nowhere in India you get such colours. I heard Lakshadeep is pretty good, never been there. I am scared actually, Beaches means money, food and stay is frightfully steep. You know that I am broke always. Please give my love to Sl and Sr.
ReplyDeleteCame home this morning Aamir
ReplyDeleteAri
ReplyDeleteI had to come here to leave a comment in response to yours at my blog!
Thanks so much for letting me know you can leave me a comment... but, I cannot leave a reply to it on my
blog!
I am kind of mad!
I hope it is fixable!
You did make my day with all your
sweet words!
Thanks Ari!
You are a good, and caring friend!
As, I have felt like crying all the time I have been trying to fix this stupid blogger problem.
I probably made it worse!
I see there is some big red rectangle at my profile pic too!
where that came from i have no idea!
Take care!
Hugs!
Margie
Dont worry Margie. I think the blogger upgrade is underway and some users are affected. Hang on there girl...
ReplyDeleteDont be mad, dont be sad. Keep smiling.
Rauf, Welcome back. Hope you had lotsa fun.
ReplyDeleteYou can see these green/blue beaches in Maldives, very close to india. I was supposed to go there for our honeymoon, but the tsunami in 2004 had destroyed over 60% of Maldives. So we went to Goa instead. Not sure about lakshwadeep. I heard Andaman was good too.
Take care of yourself. Get some sleep and rest.

Thank you Margie. :-)
ReplyDeletePria, thank you. The picture on my blog is not the actual black sand beach. It is of Hanauma bay which has small traces of the black sand.
ReplyDeleteThis is how the black sand beaches in Hawaii look like. Black Sand Beach. The sand on the beach is totally black, so black that you may think the beach is dirty. It is not.
Thanks for your comment. I love to share the knowledge and information i have. I remain true to the meaning of my name "One who discovers/gains knowledge and spreads it around"
Take care :)
Thanks Ari!
ReplyDeleteI tried that, and republished it!
Made no difference!
My dashboard is messed up too!
Oh.. it's my day off...
I need to go for a walk!
Then I will feel better!
Take care!
I do appreciate your help!
Big SMILES to you!

Gorgeous photos! The photo of the coral reef is amazing! The ocean is so clear and blue! It also looks like the beach isn't too populated, which is nice.
ReplyDeleteLook forward to seeing more pics Ari. Glad you had a wonderful time!
Take care,
Robyn
They are all stunning! I can't pick a favourite though I may be partial to the Hanauma Bay shots :).

ReplyDelete-ari
Chad, thank you.
ReplyDeletepriyankari, thank you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Radhika. Hope you are having a good week.
ReplyDeleteHey starry. You should try to visit Hawaii. I know few people who went there on a visit, but decided to stay there for the rest of their life. A lot of homeless people live on the beaches to fulfill their dreams of living in paradise. The weather is tropical, unpredictable short spells of rain, the ocean waters always warm, clear and blue/green and lush green forests. Try it, you will love it :)
ReplyDelete-ari
Kathy, it is really a paradise. I did not feel like coming back. The speed of life there is between 25-45 MPH and no one is in a hurry. Trafffic is the least of your worries there and people are very friendly and helpful. I will definitely go there again, and again, and again :)
ReplyDeleteThank you G.
ReplyDeleteTake care

Hey Robyn,
ReplyDeleteThe number of visitors to this bay is controlled. If the parking lot is full, they dont allow any more cars in till people leave out. The control of visitor population is planned to protect the bay and its rich marine life from abuse and destruction. The beach is never overcrowded here and the best time to be there is early in the morning so you can beat the traffic and the crowd.
Have fun this weekend. I know you will.
Take care

Ari
ReplyDeleteFeels like I just had a sea dip!
:)
Great looking place! Looks like paradise!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ash.
ReplyDeleteKeshi, Hawaii would be the perfect place for you. There are so many beautiful isolated beaches you can find if you are willing to hike for a lil bit. This is one place you will find all kinds of beaches; white sandy beach, rocky beach, pebble beach, black sand and red sand beach, glass beach, regular beach.
ReplyDeleteNot sure how the beaches down under are, i guess i will find out when i come :). Have a nice weekend.

ReplyDeleteI stop by daily to see if you have posted any of your new "works of art" Normally I am partial to black and whites but you are an exception! Your shots are truly beautiful the color and clarity is breathtaking. I love how you take the time to explain in a literal sese as well. great !(I WOULD LOVE TO BE THERE! LOOKS LIKE PARADISE)
ReplyDeleteKimberley, i dont post daily. My posting frequency depends on how much time i have after a hectic schedule at work (which tends to get crazy most of the time). Thanks for the nice words. I am flattered. :) I hope you keep coming back for more. Take care
ReplyDeleteAri, thanks so much for providing all the information! I thoroughly enjoyed reading how Hanauma Bay's floor was created and everthing else you wrote along with the incredible pictures! An especially great post for those wanting to visit the Hawaiian islands soon or in the future! Oh, and I also enjoyed seeing the photo of an actual black sand beach from the link you gave above in the comments.
