  1. Beautiful and very sharp pictures Aamir and very witty narration. Amazing colours and patterns, specially on the monkey. Never heard of the bird disease, Have to post the night heron pictures, been pending for a long time. Lucky to get the peacock. I never got one with open feathers so far.

They do pose well as you can see in the link i attached, it was like 2 feet away from me, i tried not to be scared or scare it away. Hi from Salma too.

  8. peacock photo is awesome. I have been planning to go to SF zoo, but never got a chance ? have you been to oakland zoo as well. do you know which is more kid friendly ?

  9. hi amimu, thanks for stopping by. Im not sure about Oakland zoo, never been there. From what i heard, SFO zoo is bigger and has more exhibits compared to other zoos nearby. The zoo was full of kids that day, and i know a lot of people who got the annual pass for their kids to the zoo. I could see the little ones enjoying, im sure your kids will too :)

    Take care.

  12. ouff I committed several grammar mistakes...sorryyy.

" I need to update it" and tomorrow will be "the day to do it" since " I am too tired today" and I just "have" one there. I am writing like I speak...all fast and skipping words! :)

  15. loved the squirrel pic and Flamingo one; your camera is making you go berserk, lol; yeah, i studied about the bird disease, cause by a bacteria ; mostly affects parrots; didn't know it had a general bird variety as hosts. also, feel sad to see such lovely animals caged :( makes me feel so bad about how insensitive we are; just yesterday, i came across this quote by someone famous " Putting animals in zoos is like being in a prison for something they didn't do" Sad, isn't it ?

  16. yeah, goin berserk :D

I know what you mean, but in other words, some extinct species which would die if left alone are being taken care of in the zoo. If it was to decide between their survival and their freedom, i would go for their survival.
